Naoto Inaba

Architect First Grade, Travel columnist. Born September 24th, 1959 in Tokyo.Blood type: O.

Graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Department of Architecture and Building Engineering, majored in Architectural Design. Received the Marriott International Golden Circle Award for his coverage of a Cairo hotel in 1995. Received the JTB Kiko Bungaku Taisho Shoureisho, an award given byJapan's largest travel agency to one of the best travel literature published in 2001. He has written numerous travelogues based in world hotels, as well as newspaper and magazine articles describing his method for acquiring one's own home.

"To Hotels Unkown" a collection of essays describing Inaba's unique experiences in a number of Japanese inn, is a long-time resident on the bestseller lists. Features Inaba's own photographs. It has sold 39 thousands copies to date.
