Ishikawa wins City Planning Award

Chuo University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering Professor Mikiko Ishikawa won the City Planning Institute of Japan’s Conference Award Ishikawa Award for leading landscape and community renovation in Iwanuma city, Miyagi.

Professor Ishikawa was awarded for opening new doors towards a resilient city planning, and for developing a provision towards a possible large-scale earthquake in the Tokai and Tonankai regions in the future, significantly contributing to the progress of the city planning field.
